		<description>This is what Hazrat Mirza sahib wrote about Khwaja Ghulam Farid after his death:

“To sum up, God had granted Khwaja Ghulam Farid a spiritual light by which he could distinguish between a truthful one and a liar at one glance. May God envelope him in mercy, and grant him a place near Him — Ameen.” (&lt;em&gt;Haqiqat al-Wahy,&lt;/em&gt; p. 209)</description>

		<description>I&#039;m sure that HMGA never called him a Kafir on the score that he(kwaja ghulam farid) didnt accept HMGA as a prophet.   I wish that one day the AMI would translate HMBMA&#039;s and Mirza Bashir AHmads books from the 1911 to 1922 period into english.  That way I could learn more.</description>

		<description>It is important to note that Khwaja Ghulam Farid was not in the formal sense a follower of Hazrat Mirza sahib. He of course testified to the truth of Hazrat Mirza sahib. As Khwaja Ghulam Farid was a spiritual leader in his own right, Hazrat Mirza sahib would not, out of regard, ask him to submit to become his disciple (this is part of Sufi etiquette).

The Khwaja sahib died in 1904 and Hazrat Mirza sahib paid him a posthumous tribute in Haqiqat-ul-Wahy.

The Khwaja sahib&#039;s son published his &lt;em&gt;Malfuzat &lt;/em&gt;in Persian, and in the conversations reported in that book, the Khwaja sahib&#039;s praise for Hazrat Mirza sahib can be read.

However, when the Urdu translation of this book was done and published in Pakistan in the 1970s, all such references to Hazrat Mirza sahib were removed and the compiler added a long foreword saying: a Qadiani had managed to enter inauthentic statements into the original Malfuzat, which have now been removed.

The compiler uses a circular argument. He says: How could Khwaja sahib have praised Mirza Ghulam Ahmad when the Mirza was a false claimant to being from God? Then he spends several pages giving several ridiculous arguments.

The original Persian edition is still published in India.

When I was with the late Hafiz Sher Muhammad sahib in Cape Town in 1984 and 1985 for our court case, he showed me both the Pakistani Urdu edition and the original Persian one.</description>
