Comments by Khatme Nubuwwat Academy against us

Submitted by Rashid Jahangiri.

Khatme Nubuwwat Academy (KNA), UK spokesman Akbar Ahmad Chaudhry appeared on ‘Message TV’ UK and commented on Lahore Ahmadiyya Movement (LAM).

Akbar Chaudhry is a former Qadiani. He used to host programs on Qadianis TV channel MTA and also was Webmaster of their defunct discussion forum based in Canada (Ahmadiyya.Com).

In his interview he has talked about Qadiani jamaat organizational setup and the way it is run. He has also made some comments about LAM and Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad sahib (HMGA). Briefly they are:

1- He has frequently used the word ‘Qadianis’ for Qadiani-Jamaat and ‘Lahoris’ for LAM. Thus he has tried to identify and made distinction between the two. For this I want to appreciate him and thank him.

2- Unfortunately, he has repeatedly tried to give FALSE impression that Lahoris in reality also hold the same beliefs like Qadianis, but they “superficially”, and “dishonestly” cover HMGA’s claims/ beliefs on subject of prophethood that are contrary to beliefs held by other Muslim.

3- He has given an impression that someone who says that it is NOT MUST for a Muslim to accept claims of HMGA is somehow going against the HMGA.

4- He has lied that HMGA’s books are nothing but repetition of discussion of three personalities Lekh Ram, Maulvi Muhammad Hussain Bitalvi, Abdullah Atham.

5- He has created a FALSE impression, by NOT explicitly mentioning that it is Qadianis, between both groups of Ahmadis, who have not translated HMGA books. He has NOT made it mentioned, which I believe he did intentionally, that LAM has translated many of HMGA books into English language, and they are available on their websites like http://www.aaiil.org and http://www.ahmadiyya.org

6- He tried to give impression that HMGA books are so “convoluted”, and “disorganized” that ‘Ahmadis’, which includes LAM are God forbid “ashamed” of them and they intentionally do not translate them into English language and make them available for general readership.

Akbar Chaudhry, enjoys his delusion of “scholarship” when he preaches to the choir (in his case, preaches to Mullahs). He feels elated when he hears and reads appreciation from his Lackey-Mullah.

I WISH AKBAR CHAUDHRY SHOWS AN IOTA OF COURAGE AND INVITES SOME LAM REPRESENTATIVE IN UK ON ONE OF HIS FELLOW MULLAHS TV. PEOPLE CONSIDERED MUCH BIGGER SCHOLARS THAN HIM RAN AWAY, NOWHERE TO BE SEEN, WHEN THEY HAD TO FACE LAM REPRESENTATIVES IN AN IMPARTIAL COURT IN SOUTH AFRICA. But I guess it is to much to expect from a DISHONEST person like Akbar Ahmad Chaudhry.

  1. It so happened that last month was the 25th anniversary of the conclusion of the first Cape Town court case. To mark this occasion, I prepared a presentation about it which I delivered in Lahore. On slides I had summarised the account of the various stages, with some images and links, which I expanded upon in my talk.

So the material is ready, the topic is refreshed in my mind, and I am prepared to deliver it when invited by Abkar Chaudhry or any other person of his ilk.

His allegation is mentioned above that Ahmadis intentionally do not translate books of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad into the English language and make them available for general readership.

    1. Is English the language of the general Muslim readership? Even in U.K. many Muslims know little or no English. The general Muslim readership who are interested in his books, and in particular his opponents, have Urdu as their literary language. And this is the language in which his books are available, reachable in a few seconds or minutes on websites. Then there are his Arabic books, written by him for Arabs.

    2. His writings have been appearing in English right from the beginning, during his own time, particularly in the Review of Religions. The Teachings of Islam was first published a hundred years ago this year, and you can view that very edition at this link.

Unread Message Accepting Lahoris’ Challenge and piece on Allama Iqbal

With consultation with Message TV, I accept Lahori invitation and invite them to a debate on Message TV, on the issue of MGA books, or any other issue that was presented on Message TV by me. Location will be East London or South London, and with three cameras and two cameramen, we can accommodate one or two people. There will be equal number (1 or 2) on the other side (most likely one will be me), and the agenda, questions and time will be agreed in advance or we can leave it open.

Meanwhile, here is another of the video set that is related to Allama Iqbal and talks about the Lahoris:

By engaging in respectful dialogue with each other, we wish to narrow our gaps and provide viewers with enough food for thought. Again, let us establish a tradition of respectful debate in the UK, and counter the perception of this issue.

  3. 1. In the broadcast whose link is given by Rashid, and in other related broadcasts, this gentleman (Mr Akbar Chaudhry) is interviewed by a friendly host who did not challenge him on any point. I would like to give an interview on the same basis, where I present the beliefs and works of the Lahore Ahmadiyya Movement, and I am willing to answer questions by this same host (who, I presume, will not be as friendly to me).

I am asking for the same opportunity as Mr Akbar Chaudhry has been given in his appearance.

    2. I have viewed the whole of the Iqbal talk. Assertions were made by the speaker without presenting any references to support them. Baseless and wrong claims were made. I can, on this blog, challenge those points. Mr Akbar Chaudhry can then appear on this TV channel, and read out and respond to my points.

  5. Na larhya karo ehna. Learn co-existence. How does it matter if mirza was a prophet or not.  If God is what you people claim him to be then he should be above this kind of non-sense. Believe what gives you peace. Yeh arab imperialism ne sab ko paagal kar diya.

Aqal karo aur allah allah kiya karo.
