Qadiani Jamaat presents Lahore Ahmadis beliefs to Americans

Submitted by Rashid Jahangiri.

I am sure Mehmudis present Lahori-Ahmadis beliefs to American.

In recent weeks Mehmudis (Qadianis who believe QK2 Mirza Mehmud Ahmad was “Musleh Mahud”) have started outreach to Americans to remove misconceptions about Islam. In their presentations and conversations they must be presenting “their” beliefs. I am sure the only beliefs that can keep them within fold of Islam and acceptable to Americans as true presentation of Islam are Lahore Ahmadiyya Movement beliefs.

Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad sahib, based on his ilham, had foretold us that how his biological progeny will go astray in matters of their beliefs and character, but finally will correct their wrong ways. With Mehmudis presentation of LAM beliefs as THEIR belief, I see initial sign of fulfillment of HMGA prediction. I pray for fulfilment of this prediction sooner than later. Ameen.

  1. Assalamo alaikum,

"Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad sahib, based on his ilham, had foretold us that how his biological progeny will go astray in matters of their beliefs and character, but finally will correct their wrong ways"

*** Please produce the proof that the Promised Messiah AS said that his progeny will go astray  Thank you.

    From Zahid Aziz:

Dear Yusuf: Please see Ruhani Khazain, vol. 11, starting from the last line of p. 223 over to the first half of p. 224. This passage begins with the words: "Surely my relatives will once again turn to fasad …".

But the question is: Is it a fact that his progeny went astray?

Please read Mirza Mahmud Ahmad's book The Truth about the Split, available on alislam.org. In it he has set out his belief that all Muslims who have not entered into the bai`at of the Promised Messiah are kafirs and outside the fold of Islam, even if they have not heard of his name, and even if they believe in their hearts that the Promised Messiah was true but have not entered into his bai`at. To give just one quotation from it:

"…I wrote that as we believed the Promised Messiah to be one of the prophets of God, we could not possibly regard his deniers as Muslims.”

This is the Qadiani Jamaat's own English translation.

To hold such views is to go astray from the beliefs of the Promised Messiah. This is leaving aside the creation of a despotic khilafat in the form of a family dynasty.

  3. Dear Dr. Zahid Aziz, assalamu alaikum.

Can you provide the reference as well to the effect of the Promised Messiah saying that "even if in my case my status was exaggerated by my followers, Allah will put an end to the exaggeration…" ? Thanks!

    From Zahid Aziz:

Dear Omar, assalamu alaikum. I will need to try to find this.

  5. Thank you very much Dr. Zahid Aziz. If not, no worries!

I would like to say that while it may be argued that Qadianis are aligning themselves closer to Lahori beliefs in terms of their presentation of Islam, unfortunately, I have noticed  a growing trend amongst the Qadiani spokesman to nowadays present their khalifa as the true "Khalifa of Islam" every chance they get through the media. This can't be good; it will only alienate other Muslims.

    From Rashid Jahangiri:

@Yusuf: HMGA had specific room in house for prayers and meditation. In his vision he saw that TOOTHIA (clay pots used to burn oil on celebrations) had been placed there. This means that his family will make his mission a worldly business.  Dr. Zahid Aziz if you can recall reference in this regard, please post it. Thanks.

I remember late Abdul Mannan Omar sahib use to say, that a time will come when HMGA progeny will correct their ways.

    From Zahid Aziz:

Rashid Jahangiri is referring to Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad's revelations and visions as mentioned by him in the book Izalah Auham (Ruhani Khaza'in, v. 3, p. 140, footnote).

First he writes in that section (see from p. 135 onwards) that he has been informed by God that a similarity between Damascus (where Jesus was supposed to descend) and Qadian is that in Qadian too there are people of a Yazid-like nature, displaying the behaviour and thinking of the paleed Yazid (just as Yazid the usurper and tyrant ruled from Damascus). The Promised Messiah, he writes, is like Imam Husain, and the people of Qadian are like Yazid. Having dwelt on this point at length, and describing the evils committed by Yazid and under his orders, he then mentions that he has been told by revelation that "these Ulama have changed my house. In my place of prayer are their cookers, and in my place of worship are their cups and saucers (or however you translate thoothian). Like rats they are nibbling away at the sayings (hadith) of my Prophet".

Hazrat Mirza sahib had in mind his opponents when interpreting these revelations. But who could change his house and put their worldly implements of sustenance at the very place where he received spiritual sustenance from God? Obviously, his so-called successors and inheriters. And their Ulama indeed nibbled away at the sayings of the Holy Prophet. (Once we had rats coming in our kitchen cupboards, and we found that they had nibbled at the paper labels around tins of food, and taken them off completely.)

He did have the revelation in Arabic: "Allah will reform my Jamaat inshallah ta`ala."

    From Ebrima Bah:

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.

@ DR. ZAHID AZIZ-My question is what is the proof of Mirza Mahmood Ahmad (ra) and the group with him to be astray and following worldly pleasures?

And why in your comments here you have an abbreviation for the name of promised Messiah as HMGH and the like?

And if Mirza sahib had in mind his opponents while interpreting this revelation, then why change it to mean his own family members and not some of his sahabas or at least maintain his own interpretation?

wassalam May Allah be our guide

    From Zahid Aziz:

    Dear Ebrima:

    1. One clear proof of being astray is that they themselves retracted their beliefs which brought about the split. Please read this chapter.

    2. What’s wrong with using abbreviation HMGA? Notice the “H” in it.

    3. Ahmadis have often applied his revelations and visions to matters other than those to which he applied them. Yazid was a despotic khalifa and believed in a hereditary khilafat. You can hardly say that Mirza Mahmud Ahmad was like Imam Husain, and the Lahore elders were like Yazid. Which of them ruled with an iron fist in Qadian (before deserting it)?
