“Few questions against your propaganda of jamat e Ahmadiyya”

An e-mail with the above subject line was received at our website e-mail account.

Dear all ,

I am an ahmadi muslim , wish to ask you few questions that from your site I got the info that you are against the current Ahmadiyya leadership of Khalifa as he wants a blind obedience of his order, don't you think its a very natural and obvious that if you are under a jamat you have to follow the rules and regulations of it and its quiet obvious that those rules must be made by the khalifa of jamat only .

At the time of Muhammad (sa:) his followers undoubtedly follow him and never asked any question against his leadership and this is the true spirit of islam . The followers of true islam will never ask a single question on His leadership as the leader and his guidance is divine and not made in the world as the decision is taken at the sky and its not his own mental decision but the decision of Allah is getting circulated by him as the Jamat is not a organisation by some learned people well organised by a team but it is the team of Allah Himself .

We Ahmadis are  the blessed one who undoubtedly accepted the Masiha Imam Mahedi and I find your organisation is lucky enough that you have accepted the Imam Mahadi but I feel sad seeing that your organization again left behind by disagreeing with Khalifa and his authority as said by Imam mahedi that some branches of my tree(jamat) will be dried and fallen  down .

I want to oppose on your statement that Ahmadis  said all are Kafir except them , we never declared or given fatwa to  anyone as Kafir and we do believe in kalema LA ILAHA ILALLAH HU MAHAMADUR RASULULLAH and we never said and believe less than it or more than it .

On your site you people said you are like other muslims believe in Qur'an and prophet Muhammad we do believe the same and we have accepted the Imam mahedi and the divine Khilafat to rescue the whole world till the last and lead our lives according to His guidance .

I feel there are two types of muslims in the world one is Ahmadi who obey the Khalifa and other who don't obey the Ahmadiyya Jamat and its Khalifa .
I pray that all of us may receive hedayet of Allah .

Khaksar ,
Ataul Monem Ahmad

    From Zahid Aziz:

Dear Ataul Monem Ahmad: My reply to your message is as follows.

    1. "…rules must be made by khalifa of jamat only". Please read Al-Wasiyya of the Promised Messiah (link). He created Sadr Anjuman Ahmadiyya for the purpose of making rules of the Jamaat. There is no mention of any khalifa in it.

    2. You are equating the obligation of obeying the Holy Prophet Muhammad with obeying your khalifa. The Quran makes a clear distinction between "Allah and the Messenger", on the one hand, and "those in authority from among you" on the other (4:59). It says if you have a disagreement, i.e. with those in authority, then refer it to Allah and the Messenger.

Muslims of the Holy Prophet's time did question him when it was not a matter in which he received revelation. According to Sir Zafrullah Khan's biography of the Holy Prophet, this is what happened before the battle of Uhud:

"… The Holy Prophet related a dream that he had seen the previous night, the details of which he interpreted as indicating that he would receive an injury himself, that the Muslims would suffer damage, that there would be carnage among the enemy, that a near relation of his would be killed, but that Medina would be safe. He therefore opined that the Muslims would be secure within Medina, … This decision did not please the younger and more impetuous section of Ansar … their ardour was so great that the Holy Prophet at last gave way" (link)

Many Muslims expressed disagreement with the Holy Prophet's opinion to stay within Madinah and not leave it to go and fight the Quraish. The Holy Prophet accepted their decision, and the Muslim army went out from Madinah, rather than staying inside it.

    3. You write that "we never declared or given fatwa to anyone as kafir". Please see the book 'The Truth about the Split' by your second Khalifa, from which we have quoted in our article at this link. Were you aware of the extracts we have quoted there from this book and from other publications of your Jamaat? Please let us know, after reading those writings, why we are not justified in saying that your Jamaat believes that all other Muslims are kafir and outside the fold of Islam.

    From Rashid Jahangiri:

Only if Mehmudis had questioned QK2…..

Holy Prophet Muhammad SAWS decided to arrange his troops in certain way at battle of Badr. Sahaba questioned his decision. He accepted his error and changed troop’s formation. Had Sahaba not questioned him, and had he not listened to them, Muslims would have decimated and there would not be any such thing as Islam.

Had Mehmudis questioned QK2 Mirza Mehmud Ahmad and his successor Qadiani Khalifas, followers of HMGA would be respected in the entire Muslim world, and Muslims would be following his (HMGA) teachings.

Hindus believe Hanuman-the monkey god, is created by God and they sing bhajans. So, does it make Hanuman an Allah’s appointee? May be in Mehmudis understanding, belief and view.

Catholic Christians believe that Pop’s guidance is divine, and God’s decisions are circulated through him. So, why Mehmudis sacrifice their energies, time and finances in efforts to convert Catholic Christians to Mehmudi version of Islam? May be in Mehmudis understanding and belief the only way to paradise is by keeping Qadiani Khalifa family in the business.

    From Zahid Aziz:

The following incident reported in Bukhari shows how the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) used to be open and accountable before Muslims:

Safiya, the wife of the Prophet (ﷺ) told me that she went to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) to visit him in the mosque while he was in I`tikaf in the last ten days of Ramadan. She had a talk with him for a while, then she got up in order to return home. The Prophet (ﷺ) accompanied her. When they reached the gate of the mosque, opposite the door of Um-Salama, two Ansari men were passing by and they greeted Allah's Apostle. He told them: Do not run away! And said, "She is (my wife) Safiya bint Huyai." Both of them said, "Subhan Allah, (How dare we think of any evil) O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)!" And they felt it. The Prophet said (to them), "Satan reaches everywhere in the human body as blood reaches in it, (everywhere in one's body). I was afraid lest Satan might insert an evil thought in your minds." (link)

Even if the thought were to occur in his followers' minds of any possible wrong-doing by the Holy Prophet, he corrected it by showing them actual evidence. In view of this noble and inimitable example, to say that Qadiani Khalifas behave like the Holy Prophet is an insult to the Holy Prophet.

  4. In this day and age when Presidents and Prime Ministers of world powers can be confronted with tough questions in their press conferences, I think that it is high time for Ataul Monem Ahmad or anyone else from his Jamaat to ask their Khalifa whether the Khalifa is appointed by Allah or by people? Does the QK represent Will of Allah on earth? Is the QK divinely inspired in all his thoughts and actions? Can the QK provide any authority for any of his claims?

I am 100% sure that the views expressed by Ataul Monem Ahmad are seeded into the minds of a blinded and gullible parish. Never will they question their QK and never will their QK voluntarily clarify these fundamental questions. Only Kings and Dictators are not fielded direct questions as they are answerable to none, and it seems that by their track record QKs too are not any different either. Whereas, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had no problem voluntarily clarifying the identity of his wife (as in Hadith quoted by Dr. Zahid Aziz above) and never he withheld any Divine instruction/message that came his way – “O Messenger, deliver what has been revealed to you from your Lord; and if you do not, you have not delivered His message. And Allah will protect you from people. Surely Allah does not guide the disbelieving people. (5:67) [Maulana Muhammad Ali, Ed. Dr. Zahid Aziz]

I once visited a mosque of Qadiani Jamaat for Friday prayers. Late Mirza Tahir Ahmad sahib (QK4) was visiting that locality and there was a brief Q&A session. A young man, probably of their Jamaat, asked a question about future Mujaddids. To my surprise, the question made the Khalifa furious under his breath and he admonishingly retorted that Khilafat has displaced the institution of Mujaddids forever, but he never quoted an authority to his claim.
