Janaza of Hazrat Maulana Sadr-ud-Din, November 1981
Maulana Sadr-ud-Din died on 15 November 1981, having been the Head of the Lahore Ahmadiyya Movement since the death of Maulana Muhammad Ali in 1951. The photo below shows his janaza prayers in the mosque at Ahmadiyya Buildings, where he lived and died.
The photo below shows the body of the Maulana at Darus Salaam, Lahore (the new headquarters of the Lahore Ahmadiyya Movement since 1973). His janaza prayers there were led by Dr Saeed Ahmad Khan (pictured below), who succeeded him as the Head of the Movement. |
