Mirza Bashir Ahmad describes Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad as Mujaddid of the century

Mirza Bashir Ahmad, brother of Mirza Bashir-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad, wrote an article in The Review of Religions for June 1914, some three months after the Split, in which he clearly classed Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad as one of the mujaddids of Islam. This 3-page article is entitled The True Religion, and appears on pages 233 to 235. Discussing the topic of reformation in religion, after dealing with reform movements in Christianity he writes about Islam in the final paragraph. Shown below is an image of the last page of his article.

The statement that God promised to the Holy Prophet Muhammad that He would “raise a reformer among the Muslims every hundred years” clearly refers to the Holy Prophet’s hadith about the coming of mujaddids. It is also stated here that “we have been promised similar tides of revival in future”.
