Concept of ‘truth’ in the Holy Quran

At this link you will find the text of a khutba I delivered in 2009 on the concept and mention of ‘truth’ in the Holy Quran, and its great importance.

One Response to “Concept of ‘truth’ in the Holy Quran”

  1. Above khutba is a wonderful refresher on the source, nature, aspects, influence and outcomes of “Truth” or lack thereof, based upon Quran, A must read.

Besides Quran, the universality of Truth and its challenges can be sampled below.

For the standard bearers of truth:

“The truth is incontrovertible, malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end; there it is.” – Winston Churchill

“Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.” – Mohandas Gandhi
    For the critics of truth:

“In a controversy the instant we feel anger we have already ceased striving for the truth, and have begun striving for ourselves.” – Buddha
