Misuse of Homeopathy to Establish Divine Appointment

Submitted by Rashid Jahangiri.

Misuse of Homeopathy to Establish Divine Appointment.

According to Hadith of Holy Prophet Muhammad SAWS real knowledge is of two types, Knowledge of Religion and Knowledge of Human body.

Hazrat Maulana Noor-ud-Din RTA was scholar of religion and hakeem (physician in eastern medicine). This hadith perfectly applied on him. On top of that his appointment of Khalifa of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad AS, by virtue of being the first person to do ba’it (pledge of allegiance) of Mamur-min-Allah i.e. HMGA, was divine. In exactly the manner in which Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique RA was Khalifa of Holy Prophet Muhammad SAWS.

People in Qadiani organization found very hard to match and defeat this uniqueness of Maulana Noor-ud-Din RTA.

Qadiani Khalifa 4 Mirza Tahir Ahmad decided to take the challenge. So, according to him he received education and was qualified Homeopath Physician. And to assert his claim that he is bearer of two types of knowledge mentioned in hadith, he got books published to his credit and made his Qadiani followers purchase homeopathic medicines prescribed, prepared, dispensed, and advised by him. Qadianis are aware of homeopathic medicines scandal in Germany. To achieve the second objective i.e. to defeat Maulana Noor-ud-Din RTA,  QK4 Mirza Tahir Ahmad tried on different occasions to belittle Maulana in an effort to lower his status in eyes of Qadianis. Two examples: 1- In one of his speech he said to Qadianis, “I have led more prayers as Khalifa than Khalifa-tul-Massih-Awal (Maulana Noor-ud-Din RTA)”. 2-In one of his speech to his Qadiani followers QK4 said, “Khalifa-tul-Massih-Awal only received his Khilafat by sitting in the shoes of Massih Mahud AS (HMGA)”.

This technique of applying above mentioned Hadith on oneself is so pervasive among Qadianis, regardless of how crooked application may be, that a former Qadiani Nasir Ahmad Sultani, who has made claim of Mujaddid of 15th Islamic century, contempt’s modern western scientific based allopathic medicine.  Nasir Sultani claims he is qualified as Homeopath Physician. And with his name he does not writer qualifier ‘Homeopath’ and only writes ‘Doctor’. And to establish his credentials of being a “physician” he has posted his photos with stethoscope around his neck. Further to establish his claim that homeopathic medicine is superior to modern western allopathic medicine by stating that among his disciples and students there are many MBBS physician. Nasir Sultani is unwilling to accept that it is very much possible that, his disciples and students, MBBS physicians are NOT aware of ‘Evidence Based Medicine’ and lack knowledge of ‘Double Blind Placebo Controlled Studies’. In my emails I have tried to educate them about the Placebo effect of homeopathic medicines.

I came across BBC documentary on homeopathic drugs and homeopathy in general. I have three purposes of posting it here:

1-Educate readers of this post on non-scientific basis of homeopathy and homeopathic drugs.

2-Educate readers of how claimants of “divine-appointments” find SHORTCUT to apply above hadith on themselves.

3-Educate followers of QK4 Mirza Tahir Ahmad and Nasir Ahmad Sultani, how you people are defrauded and cheated of your Iman (belief) and spirituality. Question for such followers: If a person is committing a physical fraud, how you can expect that he will not commit a spiritual fraud???

  1. Wasn't Maulana Noor-ud-Din a glorified Homeopath Physician?

Go to any Hakeem today and they will practice something akin  to witch doctory. They tend to prescribe roots of this plant or other similar remedies. I am sure Noor-ud-Din was little different.

    From Zahid Aziz:

That was a long period of hibernation, Mr Ali, from which you have woken up.

Maulana Nur-ud-Din practised the Unani system of medicine. This is said to be "based on the teachings of Greek physician Hippocrates". The Greeks were those ignorant, primitive people who founded the Greek civilization, producing witch doctors such as Plato, quite below your high standards, Mr Ali.

It is a pity the Marajah of Kashmir employed Maulana Nur-ud-Din for so many years, not realising that he was little different from a witch doctor.

It is a further tragedy that a philosopher and Ph.D. like Allama Sir Muhammad Iqbal sent his son to the Ahmadiyya school in Qadian in the time of Maulana Nur-ud-Din, and used to ask Islamic fatwas in his personal life from this witch doctor.

And in your own prized 1974 Pakistan National Assembly proceedings against Ahmadis, Malik Muhammad Jafar said:

"How did it happen that in an Islamic society a man claimed prophethood, whose claim had so many contradictions, as well as in his other matters, and in everything, with so many things wrong, yet despite all this educated persons in Islamic society, scholars, members of Sayyid families, people such as Maulvi Nur-ud-Din and Maulvi Muhammad Ali, joined this Jamaat?" (See this link.)

Did this minister and author forget that Nur-ud-Din was only a witch doctor?

Mr Ali, have you read the medical remedies given by the Holy Prophet and his Companions as described in Hadith? Are you aware of books in collections of Hadith, such as Bukhari, which are entitled 'Medicine' (tibb)? How would you describe the treatments mentioned in those books, or are you afraid of what fatwas you will face from Muslims?

Blog readers, the sarcastic tone of my reply is based on previous experiences with this Mr Ali and his constant jibes.

    From Zahid Aziz:

What we are principally concerned with is the service rendered to Islam by Hazrat Maulana Nur-ud-Din. One chief aspect of that service was that he guided Maulana Muhammad Ali in the translation and commentary of the Holy Quran and he guided Khwaja Kamal-ud-Din in the propagation of Islam in the UK. And both of them paid full tributes to him and acknowledged their debt to him.

Maulana Muhammad Ali left the following permanent tribute to him in the Preface to his translation of the Quran:

"There is one more person whose name I must mention in this connection, the late Maulana Hakim Nur al-Din, who in his last long illness patiently went through much the greater part of the explanatory notes and made many valuable suggestions. To him, indeed, the Muslim world owes a deep debt of gratitude as the leader of the new turn given to the exposition of the Holy Quran. He has done his work and passed away silently, but it is a fact that he spent the whole of his life in studying the Holy Quran, and must be ranked with the greatest expositors of the Holy Book."

And he related in a speech:

“It was my good fortune that I had the opportunity to learn the Quran from him even in those days when he was on his death bed. I used to read out to him notes from my English translation of the Holy Quran. He was seriously ill, but even in that state he used to be waiting for when Muhammad Ali would come. And when I came to his presence, that same critically ailing Nur-ud-Din would turn into a young man. The service of the Quran that I have done is just the result of his love for the Holy Quran.”

How many "witch doctors" had such high calibre of knowledge and such deep dedication to the cause of Islam is a question Mr Ali can answer.

  4. The point I was trying to make was that the level of knowledge that Nooruddin possessed w.r.t other medical professionals of the time was negligable.

The Hakeems of the sub continent even today are no where near the standards of even medical doctors circa 1900s.

If you are seriously ill and have a choice between a professionaly trained doctor and a hakim ready to sell you roots of plants which would you choose. Things were no different in the 1900s either,

As for his religious knowledge, no doubt Bahai-ullah was also well read on Islam, however how highly I regard his opinions are another matter.

    From Zahid Aziz:

Your statement that "the level of knowledge that Nooruddin possessed w.r.t other medical professionals of the time was negligable" is astonishing. How many people in India had access to these medical professionals? Even in U.K. many people could not afford medical care before the National Health Service was created in 1948, though at least it was available where they lived.

So Maulana Nur-ud-Din was providing a service, incidentally a free service, to people who could only choose between hakeems (or other traditional practitioners). Let us now see whether it was only the gullible ignorant who consulted Maulana Nur-ud-Din medically. Abdul Majeed Salik was an author and journalist, editor of Inqilaab. He wrote a biography of Iqbal entitled Zikr-i Iqbal. Today, the street in Muslim Town, Lahore, where Salik sahib lived is named Salik Street. He described going to see Maulana Nur-ud-Din as follows in an article in 1951:

"It was 1912. I had gone from Batala to Qadian to meet some friends. I went to see Maulana Hakim Nur-ud-Din, marhum and maghfur, in connection with the illness of a relation. It was the morning time, and the Hakim sahib was sitting in the front yard of his house attending to the needs of a crowd of people, consisting of both his followers and other needy persons. If one was having his pulse taken, another had come to seek medical knowledge, and yet another was waiting his turn to ask a question about religion. I too went and sat among the waiting people. When my turn came I showed him the document detailing my relation’s illness, which the Hakim sahib read very carefully. While doing so, he asked me where I had come from …"

Mr Ali's last statement "no doubt Bahai-ullah was also well read on Islam" shows he hasn't fully woken up. I mentioned Maulana Nur-ud-Din's "services rendered to Islam", not just his knowledge of Islam. I am unaware if Baha-ullah performed any service to Islam such as getting the Quran translated to attract people towards Islam, or guiding a Muslim mission to spread Islam in England (and by spreading Islam is meant convincing people to accept that God is One and Muhammad is His Messenger).

It is a typical tactic of the anti-Ahmadiyya that when they cannot deny some Ahmadi's service to Islam, they say: It's just like such and such non-Muslim also did work for Islam. During the second Cape Town court case in 1987, the Ulama's expert witness from Pakistan, Mehmood Ahmad Ghazi (later Rector of International Islamic University Islamabad, and also Minister of Religious Affairs under Pervez Musharraf), was asked by the Lady Judge: Isn't it true that Maulana Muhammad Ali performed a great service to Islam? Ghazi replied: Yes, it is true but that doesn't make him a Muslim because such and such Western orientalists (he named some names) also performed services to Islam.

But those Western orientalists were not preaching Islam and arguing for its acceptance by people, which is what Maulana Muhammad Ali (or Maulana Nur-ud-Din or Khwaja Kamal-ud-Din) were doing.

Tomorrow (Saturday 4th May) I have to give a presentation at a meeting in Woking, attended by various local officials and elected representatives of the town, which is being held by us to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the start of Khwaja Kamal-ud-Din's Islamic propagation work in Britain when Muslims in the UK lined up behind him to support his work and the Woking Muslim Mission became the national centre of Islam and Muslims in the U.K.

  6. Hate is a religion unto itself, a faith which at times has more committed and blind fellowship than of any other religion.

Ali stated above with regards to late Hazrat Nooruddin shahib without backing up his claim with evidence – “If you are seriously ill and have a choice between a professionaly trained doctor and a hakim ready to sell you roots of plants which would you choose. Things were no different in the 1900s either.”

This is an allegation of an ignorant. Where else, but the plants, their roots, their bark, their leaves, their fruits/seeds or their sap is the source of current pharmaceuticals. For example, Quinine came from the bark of Cinchona tree, cholesterol lowering ‘statin class’ have their source in fungus etc. etc. Further, Caesarian section for child birth was performed in B.C. Incision and drainage of abscess and circumcisions were routinely performed by the barbers. See this list (-link) for a brief list of drugs from plants.

Let me relate a personal experience from last year. Granddaughter of a doctor, Caucasian non-Muslim, in United States suffered from severe allergies for which the family spared no expense or treatment options in the whole of United States but no relief to the poor girl who was by then 5 years old. The family scoured the earth from big name hospitals, clinics, doctors, specialists, but could not help the child. The parents of the child changed their houses 3 times in different geographical locations without any improvement. They gave away their family pets, but no benefit was realized. It only got worse for the child, to the extent that she was forced to wear gloves 24×7, else she would scratch herself to bleed from her skin. Child remained homebound throughout her life with no schooling. I came to know about it. I referred the family to grandson of Nooruddin, who is an MD, PhD (biochemistry). After the consultation, the family was prescribed the same “roots, barks and other herbs” that Ali ridicules. The family took the prescription from Nooruddin's pharmacopia to a local Chinese herbalist and got the mixture prepared by a third person i.e. there were no secret concoctions (e.g. steroids etc.). Lo and behold, within a month time frame, the child completely healed, has no more trace of allergies, and she has started the school for the first time.

Not all doctors are healers and not all healers are doctors. It would be a sign of a narrow minded arrogance if any doctor lays sole claim to all the knowledge out there. A doctor can only lay claim to efficacy of his own field in which s/he is trained. The only critique any scientist can lay on any other is if the practice of the other person defies existing scientific principles. What gives a general perceived edge to modern medicine over the traditional medicine is the basic sciences and double blind placebo controlled studies for various interventions, which admittedly lacked in the non-allopathic medicine. In the above case in point, a MD can only expand his treatment strategies if s/he opens the mind to human experience of previous practices.

With the above example in mind, who comes forth as quack and a hatemonger, Nooruddin or Ali? Readers can make up their own mind.

  7. Dear Sir.  Your statements are the result (either) of sheer malice and hatred or blatant ignorance. In the fourth paragraph of this post, it is stated that Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih IV (Rehmahullaho ta'ala) mentioned having led more prayers than Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih I (Radhi'Allaho anho). In fact in that sermon which I recall clearly he had explained that he would appoint Imam Sahib as the Imam because he had been really ill in previous weeks and that he had nevertheless led more prayers than any previous Khalifa including the second Khalifa who had gone through periods of prolonged illnesses during which time he was unable to lead prayers.  The sermon can be read in full at this link.

The second reference regarding Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih I (Radhi'Allaho anho) is actually a narration of someone else who made that remark upon the presumption that he had previously seen Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih I sitting right at the back of the mosque near the shoes and that he had achieved Khilafat from that humility he had previously shown. This incident is also mentioned in his biographies, it is not a statement of Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih IV himself nor by any means a disparagement of Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih I. On the contrary he delivered at least this glorious sermon that I can remember paying tribute to him on 9th March 2001:

    @Rehan sahib,

I will answer points you replied after reading the references you provided. Give me some time.  Thanks. In the mean time I have some food for thought for you.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT FOR REHAN sahib AND OTHER QADIANI FRIENDS

If Mullah of mosque in Rabwah (there is Khatam-e-Nabuwat, Pakistan mosque in Qadianis headquarter in Pakistan on public land) who curses Qadianis in every prayer and declares them Kafir (non-Muslim) with every breath he takes; one day he makes claim that he has led more prayers than Qadiani Khalifa 4 Mirza Tahir Ahmad, THEN WHAT QADIANIS WILL THINK OF HIS CLAIM??? ARE QADIANIS GOING TO SAY THAT MULLAH SAID SOMETHING WORTH MENTIONING AND AGREE WITH MULLAH FOR ATTANING THIS MILE STONE???

While typing this post a mullah, on Pakistani TV channel ‘Dunya’ in program ‘Mayam-e-Soob’ hosted by Aniq Ahmad quoted, a hadith of Holy Prophet Muhammad SAWS, according to which ‘one proof of person to be a  liar, when he knows what he is going to say is a lie, will say a lie by putting responsibility on someone else’. In light of this hadith what you would say about QK4 Mirza Tahir Ahmad when he said, “Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih I (Radhi'Allaho anho) is actually a narration of someone else who made that remark upon the presumption that he had previously seen Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih I sitting right at the back of the mosque near the shoes”.

Don’t you think Hazrat Maulana Noor-ud-Din sahib became Khalifa-tul-Massih as it was planned by Allah SWT, by making him do the FIRST BAIT (first pledge of allegiance) of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad sahib, just the way, Hazrat Abu Bakr RA did the FIRST BAIT and became Khalifa-tul-Rasool??? If you don’t think it was plan of Allah SWT, then I would recommend you to read HMGA book ‘Sirr-ul-Khilafah’ (The Secret of Caliphate). Following is this book’s English translation links: Sirr-ul-Khilafah (The Secret of Caliphate) by Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian English translation by Mirza Muhammad Hussain (He was former teacher of QK2 Mirza Mahmud Ahmad and his sisters):

It was modus operandi of Qadiani Khalifas  3 and 4 that whenever they were blatantly lying they use to give reference of some unknown person e.g. QK3 and QK4 made claims that if 1974 National Assembly proceedings were made public half and whole of Pakistan would convert to Ahmadi (Qadiani version). The reason they adopted such strategy that if they get caught lying, they need not worry because it will give “defense” to their lackeys that “Hazoor only made claim based on information of “someone””. Rehan sahib don’t you see your QK4 was using old technique when making statement about Hazrat Maulana Noor-ud-Din sahib???

Rehan sahib, you should NOT be quoting newspaper ‘Al-Fazal’ because your QK3 said in 1974 National Assembly proceedings on Qadiani issue that Al-Fazal is NOT newspaper of his organization. Please read conversation between QK3 and Attorney General Yahya Bakhtiar:

QK3: Alfazal is NOT Ahmadiyya (Qadiani) Jamaat Newspaper.

1974 NA Proceedings page 886 (pdf file page 463):

QK3 very painfully realized that quotes from AlFazal newspaper keep on pushing him deep into thick soup. So he decided to take a stand. Following is dialogue between QK3 and Attorney General (AG):

QK3: Alfazal is NOT voice of (Qadiani) Jamaat.

AG: If this is the case then all issues are resolved.

QK3: It (Alfazal) is NOT of (Qadiani) Jamaat.

    AG: Okay.

QK3: Then all issues are resolved.

AG: Then it (Alfazal) is organ of which Jamaat?

    QK3: What?

AG: Alfazal is organ of which Jamaat?

QK3: It is NOT organ of ANY Jamaat!

Similarly QK3 has condemned editors and writers of Al-Fazal in 1974 National Assembly:

    QK3 Escape Hatch

1974 NA Proceedings page 810 (pdf file page 424):

In July 15, 1952 Al-Fazal (Qadiani Urdu newspaper) an editorial was written with title ‘KHUNI MULLA’ (translation: Bloody Mulla). In National Assembly proceedings Attorney General as an example of what kind of FIERY, HATEFUL, PROVOCATIVE, INJURIOUS publications are produced by Qadiani Organization, produced the said editorial. QK3 realized he was against the wall, and it is time for him to take the bullet for indoctrination he and his father imparted to their followers. So, instead of taking a bullet like a brave man, he looked for escape hatch. And he found it. He found it in condemning and denouncing the editorial and its writer. QK3 only condemned the editorial in secrecy, in-camera NA proceedings. Otherwise such indoctrination of Qadianis continues on even today.

Link to somersaults of QK3 in 1974 National Assembly:

    December 25th, 2012

Comments on Mirza Nasir Ahmad’s answers at the National Assembly, 1974

NOTE: Late Basharat Ahmad Baqa sahib (of LAM) wrote a comprehensive reply to QK4 Mirza Tahir Ahmad when he made comment that Hazrat Maulana Noor-ud-Din received Khilafat by sitting in shoes. That reply is not yet posted under his name on LAM official website http://www.aaiil.org  I would like to read it before reading it.

    From Mohammed Iqbal:

Rashid jahangiri Sahib,  I had seen references to "Qooni Mulla ki Akhri Din" in the Munir report. Munir exhonerated the Qadianis for the speech, though offensive, as it was made in retaliation and therefore pardonable.

    From Rashid Jahangiri:

@Mohammed Iqbal sahib, my issue with QK3 is that, if Qadiani Khalifa 2 was "pardoned" then QK3 should have justified QK2 teaching. Question is why QK3 found SAFE EXIT in condemning and denouncing the editorial and its writer?

When Qadianis will realize that in eyes of their Qadiani Khalifas they have NO value, and they can be used and discarded without even thinking for a second?

Moreover why Qadiani followers, whose khalifas regard them as worthless, proudly quote Al-Fazal newspaper????

  11. I am in agreement the Rabwa Jamaat are cause of the demise of Ahmadiyyat in the world. While there are two views of Ahmadiyyat there is only one view that is acceptable to the people who will vilify our leader, Hazrat Mirza sahib.

    Dear Dr. Omar Ahmad sahib,

Hazrat Eisa AS has two views. One is that of Muslims and other is that of Christians. Hazart Mirza Ghulam Ahmad sahib had likeness of Hazrat Eisa AS. So he has two views one is that of Lahore Ahmadiyya Jamaat and other is that of Qadianis. Just the way after Eisa AS death Paul raised his status from Prophet to God. Similarly after HMGA death QK2 Mirza Mahmud Ahmad raised his status from Reformer to Prophet.

I refer readers to an article on the website of the National Trust of UK, a public body which protects, among other things, gardens and forests in UK. It is entitled 'Taxus Baccata and the fight against cancer' and can be read here:

    http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/article-1356393745899/

A few extracts are as follows:

"Members of the genus 'Taxus' produce compounds known as taxanes, which disrupt microtubule function in our cells. … These precious taxanes are most concentrated in the needles of the English yew between the months of May and October, when they are chemically extracted from the clippings, purified, and converted into the chemotherapy drug Taxotere® (docetaxel). … Taxotere was made available in the UK in 1996 and has proven effective in combating lung and prostate cancer, and remarkably successful in the treatment of advanced cases of breast cancer….

it is an important reminder that any plant could contain beneficial compounds only waiting to be discovered by scientists.

Our gardens can be considered a vast pharmacopeia, protecting everything from the humble herbs of our medieval ancestors to endangered rainforest species. A staggering proportion of our medicines are plant-derived, …

The next time you tour one of our gardens, imagine the medical potential of the plants around you. Whether ordinary or rare, creeping or stately, showy or inconspicuous, the plant you pass on the garden path may be more significant than you could imagine."

I wonder what this contributors's name "Servant of Ahmad" refers to. It is Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad who has called himself "servant of Ahmad" as in the couplet:

"The glory of Ahmad is beyond all comprehension and imagination,
Whose servant, look, is the Messiah of the age."

  16. I love Khalifa 1,2,3,4,5 … Lahoris … Who u guys are ?

    From Zahid Aziz:

We also love Khalifa 1, and any other Khalifa on condition he does not violate the teachings of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad. Descendants of Khalifa 1 are not in the Qadiani Jamaat, as they were expelled from it by Qadiani Khalifa 2 in the 1950s. Many of them are in our Jamaat and I meet them from time to time.

Here is what Khalifa 1 said about those whom he loved:

Maulvi Muhammad Ali is a friend of mine and my arm, at whose sincerity I am amazed and I envy it also.” (1909)

On 18th February 1914, from his sick bed, he addressed Maulvi Muhammad Ali sahib and said: “Seeing you every day is also food for my soul” and added: “Maulvi sahib, you are very dear to me.”

On 22nd February 1914, while lying on his sick bed, he pointed towards his bed and said: “Let Maulvi Muhammad Ali sahib come near me”. Then added: “He is very dear to me.”

In a letter to Khwaja Kamal-ud-Din, dated 19th December 1913, he writes:

“Each and every hair of my body is pleased with you and is engaged in prayer for you.”

In the last of his Friday khutbahs which he was able to deliver, Khalifa 1 defended Khwaja Kamal-ud-Din against the supporters of your Khalifa 2 and said:

“You think ill of others. Khwaja Kamal-ud-Din does not work out of hypocrisy. He works only for Allah. This is my belief about him. Of course, he can make mistakes. I am happy with his works. There is blessing in them. Those who spread mistrust about him are the hypocrites.” (17 October 1913)

“Kamal-ud-Din is a good man. He is doing religious work…. He is engaged in a good work. None of you can compete with him. … Can any of you do the work which Kamal-ud-Din is doing?” (7 November 1913)

More generally, in June 1912 he declared in a speech in Lahore to these critics (supporters of Khalifa 2):

“You should first of all try to make yourselves sincere as they are. The people of Lahore are sincere. They love Hazrat [Mirza Ghulam Ahmad] sahib.”

Will Rashid Sahib also condemn the Maulana Aftab-din homeopathic dispensery at your headquarters in Lahore?

  19. March 21st, 2018 at 10:26 am
    From Zahid Aziz:

If I may comment on this: the practice of homeopathy by any Lahori Ahmadi or the establishment of any such clinic by one of our elders does not prove that homeopathy works or that other members are required to believe in it and eulogise it.

When Maulana Muhammad Ali was once invited to open such a clinic he said in his speech: At least it doesn't do any harm, even if it doesn't work! My late uncle Dr Shaikh Abdus Salaam, M.Sc., Ph.D. (son of Maulana Abdul Haq Vidyarthi) had a flourishing homeopathic practice in Lahore (his clinic was in the very house where many years previously I was born). But he told me: My father never believed that homeopathy works.

The important point is that neither Maulana Muhammad Ali, nor Maulana Aftab-ud-Din Ahmad, nor Maulana Abdul Haq Vidyarthi were informed by Allah as to whether homeopathy works or not. And they did not force their belief on anyone, one way or the other.

A prominent member of our Jamaat, Dr Abdul Aziz of Peshawar, was both a conventional medical doctor and a homeopathic practitioner, the first "double doctor" in Pakistan. He also practised other forms of complementary or alternative medicine.

(Note to Hussn Ahmad: Your other long question is in the queue for answering and I hope to attend to it later.)

Did any of LAM elders made claims of divine appointment?

Did any of LAM elders wrote with their names only Doctor or they wrote Homeopathic Doctor?

Did any of LAM elders pretended they are allopathic doctors by posting photo with stethoscope around their neck?

Did any of LAM elders boasted that homeopathic medicine is superior to allopathic medicine?

Did any of LAM elders pushed other members of LAM to purchase their products as Mehmudi Khalifa 4 Mirza Tahir Ahmad did with his Mehmudi followers?

I am more interested about the points you raised in your post about Homeopathy being no better then a placebo and the non scientific basis of it.  Have you mentioned these concerns to your centre in Lahore or are you going by the tactic of attacking others while staying deaf and dumb to what is happening in your own organisation? Also just to correct you the Ahmadiyya Jamaat runs free homeopathic clinics and does not charge anyone for medicines.

    From Zahid Aziz:

Our Centre in Lahore has qualified people who are aware of different views on this issue. And our ordinary members are not sheep nor are they slaves of a Jamaat system that they must believe any and everything they are told.

We also have Western-qualified doctors providing free medical treatment and advice both to our members at our Centre and to the general public who can come. Even when our late Head, Dr Saeed Ahmad Khan was in his nineties, people used to bring along their chest x-rays to him, as he had been a renowned tuberculosis specialist and surgeon. They didn't need any appointment nor did they pay any fee. They just turned up at his residence, the residence of the Head of the Lahore Ahmadiyya Anjuman.

    @Hussan Ahmad:

Please give me the name of a single dead or alive LAM elder/ member who made claim of divine appointment and practiced Homeopathy?

There are many homeopathy doctors in Pakistan. As long as they don't make a claim to divine appointment, I do not give a hoot.
