Medical News supports Hazrat Mirza sahib’s statement
Submitted by Rashid Jahangiri.
HMGA in his book Arya Darham refers to British Medical Journal ‘The Lancet’ in his support, and replies to a Hindu author, and makes the statement that a pregnant woman can become pregnant and this conception is new.
This kind of phenomenon is extremely rare, but it can happen.
ABC TV (USA) program Good Morning America has a report on one such recent case in its September 24th show. Two babies are about 2.5 weeks apart. Link is below:
From Ikram:
Elaborate on relevance to Mirza Sahib’s reference to this phenomenon.
From Rashid:
I read HMGA book Arya Darham over 5 years ago. I don’t exactly remember details. Anyways, in his book HMGA was replying to a Hindu religious leader, who was proving superiority of his religion and in it issue of custom of Nawyouge (husband seeking help from some man to impregnate his wife) was mentioned. HMGA criticized this Hindu (Arya Samaj) religion custom and in this regard made point that pregnant woman could be impregnated again. In the same book writing on sexually transmitted diseases (STD) prevalent among British army soldiers stationed in India. He wrote some thing to the effect that although concept of Muta (temporary marriage) practiced by Shia-Muslims is Un-Islamic, but it is better than no marriage or illicit relations practiced by British in India. As this could decrease incidence of STDs among British population in India.
