Professor Chaudhary Ghulam Rasool founder of Haqiqqat Passand Party

Sunday, October 17th, 2010

By Rashid Jahangiri
(The post author is responsible for the contents.)

Throughout the Khilafathood of Qadiani Jamaat Khalifa 2 Mirza Mahmud Ahmad (QK2) people among his staunch followers, Waqaf-e-Zindghi, prominent personalities in Qadiani Jamaat accused QK2 of immorality in his personal character, financial embezzlements in Qadiani Jamaat funds, political ambitions at time of independence from British Raj and after that in earlier years of Pakistan’s creation, inhuman administrative policies and actions in Qadiani Jamaat. The prominent among accusers of QK2 were people like Miyyan zahid of ‘Mubailiah Group’, and Shaikh Abdur Rehaman Misri sahib (who use to be acting Ameer of Qadiani Jamaat in absence QK2 from Qadian), Dr. Abdul Latif (he was husband of sister of wife of QK2), Abdul Wahab Omar (brother of wife of QK2) etc. All of these were either personal witness, or their close family members were victims of QK2 questionable character etc. Unlike these, there were QK2 followers, who though not initially victims of QK2’s his policies and actions, starting in early 1950s took up the mission of informing the Pakistani society the truth about QK2 through newspapers, booklets and pamphlets, mass mailing especially to Qadiani Jamaat followers of QK2, speeches, protest camps on government land across the main highway in Rabwah, Pakistan etc. This group of mainly 6 young men formed the group ‘Haqiqqat Passand Party (HPP)’ (The Party of Realists).

Professor Chaudhary Ghulam Rasool sahib, M.A. (Arabic), M.A. (Islamic Studies), L.L.B. of Chak #35, Sargodha, Pakistan was the first person to question QK2. The HPP movements started with a single sentence, in a personal letter, that Professor C.G. Rasool sahib wrote to QK2 in reply to his (QK2) Friday sermon and in defense of Maulana Noor Ud Din sahib. Later Professor sahib got so much on the nerves of QK2 that even in last speech of his life on Annual Jalsa, in 1956 (available on Qadiani Jamaat official website ‘Khilafat-e-Haqa-Islamia’) QK2 mentioned Professor sahib name 3 times. Professor sahib is also mentioned in ‘Tarikh-I-Ahmadiyyat’ (History of Qadiani Jamaat), volume 19, authored by their historian Doost Muhammad Shahid.

Up till now there has been one-sided propaganda, and name-calling of Professor sahib by QK2 speeches and his followers though the use of Qadiani Jamaat newspapers and other publications. Now with the power of Internet and YouTube Professor sahib has video recorded his side of story. Hopefully in due time Professor sahib’s version of story, comprising on many hours of interview will gradually become available on Internet.

Professor sahib version of story is important for Lahore Ahmadiyya Movement (LAM) for two reasons. One: In his interview Professor sahib has clarified that HPP was indigenous movement of Qadianis, and had NO support from LAM. Two: Abdul Manan Omar sahib (Marhoom and Maghfoor) (son of Hazrat Maulana Noor Ud Din), who represented LAM in 1974 Pakistan National Assembly trial of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad sahib, was NOT a member of HPP and had NO role in its founding, or in its mission. And all the stories regarding Abdul Manan Omar sahib as the person, and LAM as a party behind HPP was concocted by QK2.

Exchange between Ahmed Toson of Qadiani Jamaat (Egypt) and Zahid Aziz

Friday, October 8th, 2010

An e-mail came to our website address from someone called Ahmed Toson, a member of the Qadiani Jamaat in Egypt. I responded, which then led to further exchanges.

At this link you can read our correspondence.

I have decided to make it public because I found the following statements and questions by Ahmed Toson to be grossly opposed to the writings of the Promised Messiah:

[quote]

“However , Allah never ask from us to believe in mojadedon and mohadeson, never sent them to accomplish the prophet’s missions , mojadedon never declared that they have sent from Allah to the people ,, never people been punished if reject the mojadedon

– Why Allah decided to sent the mojadeden to accomplish the prophets missions and change his habit ” sona ” ? do you think Allah may continue in changing his sonas and decide to come in the form of humans?

– Are there any verses from the Quran ask people to believe in mojadedon or mohadeson if declared that the god sent them?”

[unquote]

(His argument from this is that Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was a prophet.)

To see just how Ahmed Toson’s view about mujaddids and muhaddases is totally against the teachings of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, please read the following sections of his book Shahadat-ul-Quran:

http://www.ahmadiyya.org/books/testi-hq/ch2c.htm

http://www.ahmadiyya.org/books/testi-hq/ch2d.htm#n

http://www.ahmadiyya.org/books/testi-hq/ch2b.htm#lo

I quote below some extracts, in order, from the above links.

But you will observe that Ahmed Toson has very cleverly tried to bar me from quoting from the Promised Messiah by saying:

“So every beliefs or words that conflict with the holy Quran should be rejected and any beliefs should be accepted from the quran and because of that I have asked you to reinforce your beliefs about the promised messiah PBUH that he was a mojadid and mohaddes from the Quran and prove that he wasn’t a heresy ” bedaa ” but you chose instead to tell the promised messiah statements and which we believe that you understand it in a wrong way according to the book ” Ayk Ghalati Ka Izala “.

Ahmed Toson wanted me to answer his questions from the Quran only. Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad has already answered them in his book which he entitled Shahadat-ul-Quran (‘Testimony or Evidence of the Quran’)!

Extracts from Shahadat-ul-Quran:

(In the context of this discussion, I have slightly amended below my own earlier translation as given in the above links.)

— according to the Divine custom (sunnat-ullah), that can only happen if there come, from time to time, deputies of the Holy Prophet (na’ib rasul) possessing all the blessings of messengership by way of image, having been granted all the favours given to the prophets.

— The word khalifa has been adopted to indicate that they shall be heirs of the Holy Prophet and partake of his blessings, as used to happen in the earlier ages; the faith shall be revived at their hands and security shall be established after the prevalence of fear, i.e. they shall come at times when there would be disruption in the house of Islam. Then, after their coming, those who rebel against them would be the evil-doers and the wicked. This is a reply to the point raised by some ignorant people who ask, Is it obligatory upon us to acknowledge the saints (auliya)? God says that certainly it is obligatory, and those who oppose them are transgressors, if they die in the state of opposition.

— when, after the passage of a period of time, the dust of corrupted notions settles upon the holy teachings, and the face of the pure truth is hidden, then to show that beautiful face there come mujaddids, muhaddases and spiritual khalifas.

— Unfortunately however, the critic does not understand that mujaddids and spiritual khalifas are needed by the Muslim people in the same way as were the prophets required from ancient times.

— It should also be remembered that for every age the conclusive proving of the case for Islam takes place in a different sense, and the mujaddid of the time comes with the powers, faculties and qualities upon which depends the reformation of the prevalent evils. God will ever continue to do this, as long as He pleases, so that signs of righteousness and reform remain in the world. These matters are not without proof; on the contrary, repeated observations testify to them.

And to say that it is not obligatory to believe in the mujaddids is to deviate from the command of God because He says: “And whoever disbelieves after this, they are the transgressors” (24:55), i.e. after the sending of the khalifas, whoever remains a denier of them, he is among the transgressors.

— To say that the Quran and the Hadith are sufficient for us, and that association with the righteous is not necessary, is itself against the Quranic teaching because Almighty God says: “And be with the truthful ones [sadiqin, plural of sadiq]” — (9:119). … the “truthful ones” are the prophets, messengers, muhaddases and the completely perfect holy men (auliya kamil), upon whom heavenly light fell and who saw God Almighty in this very world with the eye of certainty.

— And the mujaddid whose work bears striking similarity to the appointed task of one of the apostles, is called by the name of that apostle in the sight of God.

— Now it has been proved from the Holy Quran that in this blessed Muslim nation a system of perpetual khilafat has been established in the manner and likeness of the one which was established in the dispensation of Moses, and there is merely a verbal difference to the effect that at that time, for the support of the Mosaic religion, there used to arise prophets, but now muhaddases come.

— For this reason, the mujaddid of this century came in the likeness of Jesus, and was called the Promised Messiah because of intense similarity.

— so it was that our Holy Prophet was also granted servants of the law who, in accordance with the hadith “The learned ones among my followers are like the prophets of the Israelites”, were Divinely inspired (mulham) and muhaddas.

— If it is said that in the Mosaic order those who were raised for the advocacy of the faith were prophets, and Jesus was also a prophet, the reply is that the prophet (nabi) and the muhaddas are on a par in terms of being sent (mursal). Just as God has called prophets as mursal, so has He termed muhaddases as mursal.

— …by “messengers” (rusul) are meant those who are sent, whether such a one is an apostle (rasul), prophet (nabi) or muhaddas. As our Master and Messenger, may peace and the blessings of God be upon him, is the khatam al-anbiya, and after him there cannot come any prophet, for this reason muhaddases take the place of prophets in this religious system.

Statements of Mirza Mahmud Ahmad answered by Javed Ahmad Ghamdi

Pakistan’s well-known scholar of Islam Javed Ahmad Ghamdi, who appreciates the Lahore Ahmadiyya Movement literature, in his Dunya TV program ‘Deen-o-Danish’ has answered a question that quotes Qadiani Khalifa 2 Mirza Mahmud Ahmad (QK2) statement. The question quotes QK2 book ‘Anwar-ul-Aloom’ volume 2, page 151, ‘Aina-e-Sadaqqat’.

Dr. Khalid Zaheer, student and colleague of Javed Ahmad Ghamdi (another appreciator of LAM literature) in multi-part you tube video produced by his institution has replied to Qadiani Jamaat arguments that they present from Holy Quran to establish “prophet-hood” of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad sahib. By using word ‘Ahmadis’ Dr. Khalid Zaheer means ‘Qadianis’:

Qadiani Tactics of Truth Suppression

Thursday, September 16th, 2010

Submitted by Ikram.

Qadiani Khalifas – II onwards and their insiders have used every tactic in the book for Truth Suppression when confronting history, personal character, external challenges, internal dissension, duping their jamaat, distorting and re-writing history of HMGA, preserving the Khalifat for their family and so on.

Those of you who have debated for years on different forums the validity of Qadiani Khilafat will eerily see the semblance of the following tactics to those applied by Qadiani Jamaat over the past ninety six years. It would be interesting if Rashid and others write examples for these tactics employed.

With regards to Qadiani silence about any criticism about second Khalifa onwards, read tactics 1, 2, 3, 5, 9, 10, 13, 18, 19, 20 and 22 below. May be all of 1 to 25 apply. Enjoy!

Compliment and Question for Qadiani Jamaat

Tuesday, September 14th, 2010

Submitted by Rashid Jahangiri

The Qadiani Jamaat has done efforts to clear the honor of Holy Prophet Muhammad SAWS, by answering allegations made on his blessed character, policies and decisions. Qadiani Jamaat has answered these allegations made by Jew, Christian, and Hindu opponents of Holy Prophet Muhammad SAWS. Muslims must appreciate and commend them.

Similarly, Qadiani Jamaat has done efforts to clear the honor of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (HMGA) sahib, the Mujaddid of 14th Islamic Century, by answering allegations made on his blessed character, policies and decisions. Although material providing allegations to opponents of HMGA was given by certain Qadiani Jamaat authors, who are respected elders of Qadianis, E.g. in original edition of “Seeratul-Mahdi” authored by Mirza Bashir Ahmad, (the younger brother of Qadiani Khalifa 2 Mirza Mahmud Ahmad) revered as “Qamar-ul-Anbiyya” (moon of prophets) by Qadiani Jamaat. Similarly, elder of Qadianis Mir Nasir Nawab (maternal grand father of QK2 Mirza Mahmud Ahmad), in his biography ‘Hayat-e-Nasir’ (Life of Nasir) says that HMGA was inflicted with Cholera (Haiza) and passed away as a result of it.

Members of Lahore Ahmadiyya Movement (LAM) believe that all these allegations on pious character of HMGA are FALSE. Still LAM members appreciate Qadiani Jamaat for producing programs on their jamaat TV and YouTube videos to answer the allegations of HMGA opponents.

Unlike above where it was the opponents who alleged, in case of QK2 Mirza Mahmud Ahmad, his own STAUNCH, followers who had pledged their lives in service of Qadiani Khalifas and Qadiani Jamaat (Waqaf-e-Zindghi) made allegations of severest form on personal character, polices, decisions, actions, and finances of QK2 Mirza Mahmud Ahmad. These allegations are far worse than those made by opponents in above two cases. Still Qadiani Jamaat friends NEVER even try to answer them. Rather they say, “we will only discuss beliefs and status of HMGA and QK2”. It is mind boggling that Qadiani Jamaat friends don’t hesitate in defending honor of Holy Prophet Muhammad SAWS and HMGA, but they don’t even take initiative to answer allegations made on QK2 Mirza Mahmud Ahmad, by his own former followers, friends and elders of Qadiani Jamaat.

My question to Qadiani Jamaat friends:
Why you do not defend honor of your Qadiani Jamaat Khalifa 2 Mirza Mahmud Ahmad?

Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad sahib’s prophecy regarding 1965 Indo-Pak war

Monday, September 6th, 2010

Submitted by Rashid Jahangiri

September 6th is Pakistan’s Defense Day, to commemorate Pakistan’s defensive war with India in 1965.

The day before attack on then West Pakistan, the Indian Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri made a prediction before Indian Assembly that he would be able to announce to them good news within twenty-four hours.

Similarly, the Indian Defence Minister and Commander-in-Chief of their army had told their friends that same day, the September 5th 1965, that they would be having drinks in the Lahore Gymkhana the following day.

The Founder of the Ahmadiyya Movement, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad saib, in a Vision on April 29, 1905 was shown a glimpse of the events of the fateful September 6, 1965, winding up with a note of happy tidings.

The Vision goes on:

“God says I will quietly come with My armed forces at a time when no one will have the least inkling of the coming event. Most likely it will be in the small hours of the morning or after some part of the night or there-about.”
“Shastri’s Prediction turned out wrong”

Even a staunch critic of HMGA will agree that Indian military assault on Lahore at 3 A.M. on morning of September 6, 1965 was an absolute surprise, and ultimately Shastri’s prediction turned out wrong. Unfortunately, such critics won’t show moral courage to accept, that HMGA prophecy regarding the event turned out to be true.

Khawaja Ghulam Fareed sahib of Chachran

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010

Submitted by Rashid Jahangiri.

Khawaja Ghulam Fareed of Chachiran, in Southern Punjab, Pakistan was saint of great standing. He was in contact with Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (HMGA) sahib. HMGA has published correspondence between the two in his books. Similarly, Khawaja Ghulam Fareed sahib also praised HMGA and wrote about his truthfulness and believed in his (HMGA) divine appointment (i.e. Mamur-min-Allah), in his books.

BBC on-line Urdu site has blog by Wasat-ullah Khan. He has written on the towns in which Khawaja sahib was born and was buried. He has also posted couple of photos. I’m saddened to read Khawaja sahib’s library is damaged in current floods.

Pakistani Hajj pilgrims cursing of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad

Wednesday, August 25th, 2010

Submitted by Rashid Jahangiri.

In last two decades international travel has more come with in reach of average Pakistani citizen. In last two decades Pakistan’s population has also increased. In last two decades more Pakistanis have made Hajj pilgrimage than previous decades. Now percentage wise relatively younger Pakistani pilgrims are in majority in Hajj season.

As more Pakistanis are and have been performing Hajj, and also more Pakistanis are traveling abroad, the more Pakistanis fill Pakistan Passport forms, and by their signatures in order to declare themselves Muslims, they curse Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad sahib (as an imposter).

In last two and half decades we have witnessed Pakistani society is over all decaying. It’s getting worse, socially, economically, educationally, politically, ethically, morally, infrastructure wise, geopolitical stability wise.

In my opinion, the decaying of Pakistani society is direct consequence of increasing number of Pakistanis who by their signatures and written statements curse HMGA.

As long as the statement on Pakistani Passport form is there, in my opinion, condition of Pakistan and its society will only get worse.

The Arya Samaj and Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad

Friday, August 20th, 2010

Submitted by Rashid Jahangiri.

Arya Dharm
Hindu Consciousness in 19th-Century Punjab
by Kenneth W. Jones
University of California Press
Published 1976

I have come across this book in a library. I have not read it yet, only browsed.

Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (HMGA) sahib had extensive published debates with Hindus belonging to Arya Dharm sect of their religion. Stalwarts of Arya Dharm included Swami Dayanand, Pundit Lekh Ram, Lala Lal Chand etc. HMGA prophesized about death of Pundit Lekh Ram, and circumstances surrounding it. His prophecy was precisely fulfilled.

Kenneth Jones has given the background information, objectives, strategy, and planning of Arya Dharm. He has commented on their literature. He has also provided short biographies of major characters in the movement. And how movement leaders ended up locking horns with Muslims.

Page 149: “In 1887, Pundit Lekh Ram published his first tract specifically against the Mirza [HMGA], Takzib-I-Burahin-I-Ahmadiyah (Refutation of Ahmadiya Arguments), Volume I subtitled, “A Gunfire to break the flanks and tyranny of Mohammad’s Islam”. Thus opened a war of words between Lekh Ram and Ghulam Ahmad. Each tract incited a counter-blast of criticism and condemnation, culminating in Lekh Ram’s infamous pamphlet, Risala-I-jihad Ya’ni Din-I-Muhammadi Ki Bunyad (A treatise on holy war, or the basis of the Muhammadan Religion). In Jihad Lekh Ram drew on the sections of the Satyarth Parkash which charged Islam with violence, slaughter, and a love of loot. He also turned to history for his ammunition.”

Page 149 footnote: “Ghulam Ahmad responded to Lekh Ram’s attacks in 1887 with Surma-I-Chashma-I-Arya (Antimoney to open the Eyes of the Aryas). Lekh Ram replied in Nuskha-I-Khabt-I-Ahmadiya (A Prescription for the Madness of the Ahmadiyas) (Amritsar: Chashma-I-Nur Press, 1888). He followed this with Radd-I-Khilat-I-Islam (Rejection of the Islamic Robe of Honor) and Ibtal-I-Basharat Ahmadiyah (Refutation of Ahmadiya Statements)”.

Page 193: “Lekh Ram continued in his speeches to denounce Islam, while his writings drew constant criticism from the Muslim press. “Takzib-I-Burahin-I-Ahmadiya….. is calculated to cause great mischief. The book purports to be a refutation of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s ‘Burahin-I-Ahmadiya’, but the Pandit, in utter disregard of the cannons of strict criticism has used the most offensive and insulting language towards Islam, its leaders, its followers, including the Prophets, and things held sacred by the Muhammadans [Paisa Akhbar]”.”

Page 194: “Three days later, the Punjab Samachar stunned the province—Pundit Lekh Ram had been murdered, assassinated by “a Muhammadan who was living with Lekh Ram under [the] pretension of becoming a Hindu again”.

Page 196: “Mirza Ghulam Ahmad published a tract in which he thanked God for the fulfillment of his prophecy that Lekh Ram would die a violent death. Rumor had it that prayers of thanksgiving were said for the death of Islam’s arch enemy [Tribune].”

This book creates a vivid picture in words, of charged environment of 19th century Punjab and clash between two champions of their respective movements i.e. Pundit Lekh Ram and HMGA. I think it is a good book for those who have read HMGA books on Arya Dharm/ Hinduism and are interested to know the complete picture of the circumstances.

Correspondence with Orya Maqbool Jan

Monday, August 9th, 2010

Submitted by Rashid Jahangiri.

Orya Maqbool Jan is a retired Pakistani bureaucrat. He writes columns in Pakistani Urdu newspapers, and comments in Pakistani political TV talk shows. Recently he has written columns in regard to natural calamities and law and order situation in Pakistan. I had email correspondence with him.
(Email: orya_m@yahoo.com)
Link to his columns: http://www.pkcolumns.com/category/columns/orya-maqbool-jan/
Refer to his column: ‘Allah Ko Haya Ati Hay by Orya Maqbool Jan’ published on 31 July, 2010.

Email 1:
Respected Orya Maqbool Jan sahib:
Aslam Alikum,

I have been reading your recent columns regarding calamities both natural and from fellow citizens in Pakistan. Being a physician, we always look for more than one cause of abdominal pain experienced by a patient.

Before I go further, I want to make two points:

1- I’m a Muslim and believe Rasul Allah SAWS was THE LAST messenger of Allah SWT.
2- Allah SWT is NOT relative of Pakistani Muslims and Pakistani non-Muslims.

Before I ask you a question, I request you to read the few pages of following booklet by clicking on following link. Thanks.

‘National Assembly Pakistan kee Special Committee ka Roobaroo Ahmadiyya Anjuman Ishaat-e-Islam Lahore ka Wazahati Bayan:
by Maulana Sadr-ud-Din’

Question:
After reading above booklet, do you think Allah SWT will reward any nation with medals, prizes and blessing which declares reciters of Kalima-Shahada, like those who wrote above booklet, as Kafir?

I wish and pray may Allah SWT keep Pakistan intact in its current geographical boundaries and make it a peaceful, tolerant and prosperous country. Ameen. But I am worried; Pakistan may not remain in its current geographical boundaries. If Pakistan fragments into pieces, its 1973 and along with it its 2nd constitutional amendment will not remain intact. Allah SWT has already given Pakistanis over 35 years to correct their wrong action. We don’t know how much more grace period will be given. Warnings and divine notices, in form of calamities, are already being given for quite some time now.

I will appreciate if you could acknowledge my email. Thanks.
Reply 1:
Dear Rashid Jahangiri sb,

May I ask you one question. What you. consider about those muslims who recite Kalima wether Hanfai or jaffari or follower of other Fiqah but dont believe in Mirza Ghulam Ahmed claiming as Masih e Moued. Please answer with refence of books or literature of your Jamat not your personal belief.

sincerly

Respected Orya Maqbool sahib:
Aslam Alikum,
Thank you very much for replying to my email. I take it as an honor. Thanks once again.

The link to booklet that Lahore Ahmadiyya Movement [LAM] distributed among Pakistan National Assembly members answers your question. Link was provided in my previous email to you.

Anyways, I will provide you links that specifically answers your question. I will also provide you links to Court cases where LAM had to face Muslim-Ulema, in impartial courts and in front of impartial judges. There you will see LAM with blessings of Allah SWT was declared Muslims, unlike in Pakistan NA in 1974. One of the most famous South African Court case was published in Pakistani Law Journal ‘Pakistan Supreme Court Cases, March 1986’ issue.
[I provided links to different LAM articles and books].
